SdKfz 7 Artillery Tractor Walkaround Militracks 2010/2011

Robert Blokker has posted a great walkaround of the SdKfz 7 Artillery Tractor. There are 145 pictures in total. Great details are covered. You can view them at SdKfz 7 Walkaround on Armorama by Robert BLokker or by clicking here.

SdKfz 7 is an iconic half-track vehicles used by Germany during World War II. It can transport upto 12 soldiers with full gears. It was seen during the 1940 Paris Victory Parade and wartime propaganda footage.

SdKfz 7 was originally build to transport 8.8 cm Flak Gun and 15 cm sFH 18 150mm Howitzers. It was also modified to become the basis for a number of self propelled Anti Aircraft guns, mounting 20mm and 37mm flak types. Because of its heavy power, it was also used as a recovery vehicles.

Major plastic scale model manufacturers have this vehicle in their catalogue, including Tamiya, Dragon and Trumpeter. All of them in 1/35 scale. There is even a 1/6 scale RC model available. You can see it from the video below.

If you have this kit in your inventory, then this will be a good reference point to start your build. Should you like to add this to your list of kit to build, you can buy it from your local hobby shop or go visit Amazon to buy online.
