During World War 2, Soviet are best friends with United Kingdom and United States. Soviet receives a lot of war machine from UK and US under the Lend-Lease Agreement.
To help Soviet with their airforce, UK sends about 3360 Hurricanes to the Soviet under the Lend Lease agreement. Naturally, they were put to good use againts the Nazis. 17 Aces were born using the Hurricanes.
The aces story and aircraft are now available for reference from the latest Osprey book, Soviet Hurricane Aces of World War 2. This will be a great reference for modellers of the Hurricane, you can now build aircraft flown by aces of the Soviet Union.
